DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to the review of our Primary Road System records, Iowa 393 in Chickasaw County should be deleted from the Primary System and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary Road System.

Iowa 393 begins in Ionia, Iowa and travels northerly terminating at the junction of US 18 approximately 2 miles north of Ionia, Iowa.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Remove Iowa 393 and its extension in Chickasaw County as follows:

Ionia:

Commencing on Main Street at the east side of West Street; thence east on Main Street to Center Street; thence north on Center Street to the north corporation line.

Beginning on the north corporation line of the Town of Ionia, connecting with Center Street; thence north following substantially the section line to a point near the NE Corner Section 11‑T95N‑R14W.
